St John the Baptist trials online fundraising
St John the Baptist, Little Somerford is happy to announce a new partnership with a local startup to trial an innovative online fundraising website, fundraisy.co.uk.
As fewer people carry cash, this pilot programme aims to make supporting our mission easier and more accessible, with much reduced admin. By using a platform built right here in our community, we are proud to support local enterprise while modernising how we gather donations for our ministries and outreach projects.
"We wanted to create a simple, user-friendly tool for our community to enable everyone to support the causes they care about," says Adam Rambridge, one of the founders of Fundraisy.
We invite you to explore the features. Your feedback during this pilot phase is invaluable as we look toward the future of our church’s stewardship.
Help fund our vital repairs
St John the Baptist is currently undergoing vital £40,000 structural repairs to address ground subsidence and ancient grave settlement, a project that will completely deplete our parish reserves. We would be incredibly grateful for any donation you can make to help us cover these costs and preserve this Grade I listed landmark.
